I always felt like you believed in me from the beginning, and you just don't know how important that was to me. Dear Mr. Nix,
I just wanted to take a few minutes of your time to thank you for all that you accomplished. I not only consider you an outstanding lawyer, but a friend as well.
I do not know what exactly went on in that room, but I do know this... you went above and beyond what I think you normally would in most cases. Mrs. Cate even told me "I can't believe I was talked into reinstating you Lonnie."
The best way that I can show my gratitude for your work and the faith you and Mrs. Cate put in me is to get out of here and continue doing what I've been doing for this past year.
Your services, I pray I will never need to use again, in any criminal cases anyways, but I will continue to refer people to you as I've always have.
My mother is truly grateful as well and she has the same respect for you as I do. My life has been a whirlwind and it is so much of a relief to have all the chaos come to a close for good.
My goal is to stay here for at least six months and then transfer out to some place new, probably Witchita Falls or back to Denton where my greatest support is at.

Thank you for the Bible it is real nice. Thank you for everything John, I could not have asked for better representation. You were great in that court room and I'm proud of you. You asked all the right questions and brought much truth to light. Ever since this dark chapter in my life began the Lord has put some great people in my life. He does this to let me know that I am not alone. You are one of those people. I will not let this part of my life define me or defeat me.
